Virtual Anatomy Product

The Virtual Anatomy product line is an award-winning video series that features an avatar host who guides viewers through a cinematic exploration the human body, it’s inner workings, and the conditions that plague it. This product was different from others we’ve produced in the past, in that it was written with more in-depth storytelling, which allowed us the ability to really flex our artistic muscles and visualize a highly accurate depiction of the disease. The motion graphics were designed to have an AI-like feel, with particle effects that emanate from the avatar and guide the viewers focus throughout the experience. The camera animations were designed to make it feel as if you are immersed in the environment, voyaging through affected organs, flying just above the surface to see the disease take hold and diving deeper to the cellular level where the changes in physiology take place.

I was responsible for the overall design look & feel (storyboard, animatic, graphic UI elements & backgrounds), motion graphics package, 3D scene setup in Unity (including lighting, scene polish and material setup), camera animations, and real-time rendering in Unity.

This product line was a collaborative effort by the artists at Sharecare Reality Lab
